Will of William Puckmore Yeoman of Pauntley 1730



In the Name of God Amen The Seventeeth Day of March Annoq dom 1725 I William

Puckmore of the Parish of Pauntley in the County of Glouc Yeoman being weak in Body but of

perfect Memory & understanding thanks be to God for it doe hereby make & Ordain this my Last Will &

Testament Principally I commend my Soul to Almighty God trusting to be saved by the meritts

of my Lord & Saviour Jesus Christ & my Body to the Earth to be decently Buried at the discretion

of my executrix hereafter named and my worldly Estate & Goods wherewith it hath pleased

God to blesse me with in this life I give & dispose of in manner & form following Impri[mi]s I give

& devise unto Hannah Hill my daughter All my Freehold & Leasehold Lands lying & being in

Eldersfield als Elsfield in the County of Worcester To hold to her my said daughter Hannah untill

such time as Wm Hill her Son shall attain the age of One & Twenty Years And from & after he

the said Wm Hill shall attaine to that age of One & Twenty Years I give & devise the same unto him

the said Wm Hill & to his Heirs & Assigns for ever And Whereas there is due to me from John

Hankins of Dymock in the County of Gloucr aforesd my said Son in Law the Sume of One Hundred

& forty pounds My Will is and I doe hereby give & dispose of the same as follows Item I give & devise

unto Anne Hankins his sd daughter the Sume of 80 pounds and to John Thomas and Richard his

Sons the Sume of Twenty pounds Each to be paid them when they severally attain to

the Age of One and Twenty Years each by John Hankins their father his heirs of Assigns And in case

either dye or depart this life before they attain the Age of One and Twenty as aforsaid the said

Legacy or Legacys of these party or partys soe dying shall be     Equally divided betweene the Longest

Livers Item I give & devise unto Anne Hill my Granddaughter the Sume of Sixty pounds and to my

Grandson Tho: Hill & Granddaughter Hannah Hill the Sume of Twenty pounds each to be paid them

when they shall severally Attain to the Age of One & Twenty Years Each and in Case either dye and

depart this Life before they attain to that Age of One & Twenty Years the said Legacys given

shall be Equally divided between the longest livers And my will further is and I doe hereby

deliver into the Hands of my sd Son in Law Thomas Hill the said Sume of One Hundred pounds as

aforesd given unto his said Children to putt out at Interest for their use untill they attaine to ye

severall ages as aforesd Item I give and devise unto John Puckmore of the Vellsmill all my

Wearing Apparell Item I give and devise unto my Two Daughters Anne Hankins & Hannah Hill

Equally to be divided between them All & perticular all the rest of my Goods Calle Chattells Writings

Moneys & Creditts of what Nature degree or kind soever not before bequeathed they Paying and

Discharging my debts Legacys & funerall Expences which said Anne Hankins & Hannah Hill

I make & Ordain my Sole Executrixs of this my Last Will & Testament revoaking all other by me

before made And lastly I doe hereby make constitute & Appoint John Loveridge the Elder and

John Loveridge the younger of Pauntley aforesd to be trustees of this my said last Will & Testamt

allowing them fifty shillings Each for their trouble In Witnesse whereof I have hereunto

putt my hand & seale the daye & yeare first above written
