William Cross Yeoman of Warfield 1701 Will



In the name of God Amen I William Cross of

Warfield in the County of Berks yeoman

being in health and of a good and perfect memory

blessed be god for the same yet Calling to

remembrance the uncertainty of this transitory

Life and that all flesh must yeild unto death

when it shall please god to call do here make and

ordaine this my last will and Testament in manner

and forme following Imprimis I commit my

Soule into the hands of god Allmighty hopeing

in the merrits of Jesus Christ to receive pardon

for all my sines and my body to the earth to be

Buryed in Christian buryall at the discretion

of my executrix hereafter named and as for

such gods and Chattels as it hath pleased god to

lend unto me in this world I give and bestow as

followeth Itm I give and bequeath unto Daniel

Cross and William Cross my sones ywelve pence

apece Itm I I give unto my daughter Mary Cox

wife of John Cox one shilling and Lastly I doe

Constitiute make and appointe Elener my wife

to be executrix of this my last will and Testamt

In witnes whereof I have hereunto set my hand

and seale this fourth day of December in the fifth

yeare of the raigne of our soveraigne Lord & Lady William

& Mary of England & king & queen Ao dom 1693
