Death of Amy Hart Barton

Amy Hart Barton was the second daughter (of three) of John Scurr Barton and Martha nee Boyce.

John died in 1882 at only 55, and between 1891 and 1901 the family moved to Folkestone, with the exception of the son Arthur Scurr Barton, who had already gone to South Africa and married Anna Sophia Hutchons in 1883 at Dordrecht.

It came as a surprise when I came across the following probate entry for Amy: -

Barton, Amy Hart of 11 Millfield Folkestone spinster died 14 Frebruary 1917 at 95 rue Montvilliers Le Havre in France Probate London 18 May to Edith Ellen Barton and Frances Stewart Barton spinsters Effects 3417 5s 11d

I found a medal record card for Amy at the National Archives which seemed to be not on Ancestry
